JustFund Legal Funding
At Clarity Lawyers and Associates, we understand funding a legal matter can be expensive and sometimes impossible when there is no disposable funds available. We have partnered with JustFund who can assist elligible family law clients.
JustFund provides flexible legal funding that may assist with approved legal fees, court costs, mediation, expert reports and other eligible expenses while your family law property matter is being resolved. Funding is generally repaid from the proceeds of your property settlement, meaning there are no monthly repayments while your matter is ongoing.

What is the process for a property settlement?
A property settlement generally involves considering the parties’ assets and liabilities, their financial and non-financial contributions, and their current and future circumstances. The outcome must ultimately be just and equitable in the circumstances.
Do I need a court order for parenting arrangements?
Not necessarily. Parents can make their own parenting arrangements, including through a parenting plan. However, a parenting plan is not legally enforceable. If parents want their agreement to be legally binding, they can apply to the Court for Consent Orders.
How much does an initial consultation cost?
Our initial consultation fee is $200. During your appointment, we will discuss your circumstances, explain your options and advise you about the next steps available to you.
How long does a divorce take in Australia?
You must generally be separated for at least 12 months before you can apply for divorce. The time from filing to finalisation varies depending on the circumstances of the application and the Court’s listing timeframes. If a divorce is granted, the divorce order usually becomes final one month and one day after the hearing.
